One of the best things about travelling is meeting new people from all around the world. It’s a wonderful opportunity to find out more about the world and what everyday life is like for people with very different lifestyle to you. Always take the opportunity to talk to people and be sociable.

It can be scary meeting new people at first, especially if you are new to travelling. It will become a lot easier though, as you will get much more used to talking to strangers all the time. A lot of the time, it will be a necessity because you are lost or you need some help with something, so it’s better to get used to it in a more relaxed situation.

Talk to locals whenever you can. You will meet lots of other tourists with similar ways of life but it’s the locals who are the most interesting.
