When traveling abroad you should always consider safety. Unfortunately there are many countries where it can be risky to travel alone and you need to be constantly on your guard when moving from one location to the next.

If you need a taxi from the airport to your accommodation, it is advised to book it in advance with a reputable, well known company. Many taxi firms will even let you know who your driver will be and what car they will pick you up in prior to travelling to insure you get picked up by the correct person.

If you can travel in pairs or groups then even better, safety in numbers, as they say. If you must travel alone may for business or you are meeting friends or family out there, then plan all of your journeys in advance and make sure that someone is aware of your travel plans at all times.
