When traveling around China it will quickly become apparent that there simply is not enough hours in the day to fit in seeing everything of interest that there is to see, there is just so much!

Therefore it’s important to plan your days out to make the most of the time that you have there, as such you are unlikely to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, other than to sleep so provided the accommodation is clean and comfortable in my opinion there’s not a lot of point in paying over the odds for a room.

Usually when you pay extra it may be to include some of your meals, however it’s worth bearing in mind that if you are out and about sightseeing your unlikely to want to return to your hotel after a couple of hours just to have lunch.

The best place to find a budget hotel that is still clean and comfortable is to have a look around and read plenty of trip advisor reviews before booking.
