Visiting China – do you have to spend a lot on your accommodation?

When traveling around China it will quickly become apparent that there simply is not enough hours in the day to fit in seeing everything of interest that there is to see, there is just so much!

Therefore it’s important to plan your days out to make the most of the time that you have there, as such you are unlikely to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, other than to sleep so provided the accommodation is clean and comfortable in my opinion there’s not a lot of point in paying over the odds for a room.

Usually when you pay extra it may be to include some of your meals, however it’s worth bearing in mind that if you are out and about sightseeing your unlikely to want to return to your hotel after a couple of hours just to have lunch.

The best place to find a budget hotel that is still clean and comfortable is to have a look around and read plenty of trip advisor reviews before booking.

Choosing The Best Airline For Your Travel

Whether you are going on a family or a business trip, choosing the best airline comes handy. This is especially important to people who travel often. The number of airlines has doubled making it a daunting task for travellers to choose the best. Due to advertising hype, it is even harder to choose. Most people resolve to use the services of a travel agent to choose the best airline while others take recommendations from friends, workmates or relatives. Either way, you will get the best airline. However, there are times when you do not have the finances to hire a travel agent and no one you know can give you a recommendation. If you are travelling by plane for the first time, you need to do an in-depth research on a number of airlines to understand their services. The introduction of budget airlines made it even harder for people to choose between airlines. The budget airlines cut unnecessary luxuries from the plane such as baggage allowances and foods. Though most people can fly given the cheap travel expenses, it is important to understand that this lack of service impacts on your enjoyment in the plane. Budget airlines are advocated in business travel tips as they cut on costs for regular travellers. Continue reading

Luxury Hotel Accommodation in Mumbai

Many of the complaints people have about a holiday in the republic of India stems from the poor standard of accommodation. Many of the places which people will pay for accommodation won’t have quality services or even good rooms, which is okay for most people, as that’s not why they go to India in the first place. They go to see the history, to experience the vibrancy of the culture, and see how multi-cultural it is, and eat some authentic Indian meals.

This may be changing however, as more and more luxury hotels crop up every year throughout many of the population hubs in the country. Mumbai has a great selection of high quality 5-star hotels, done in the western style, with excellent services, great food, and all of the modern day amenities that western people’s come to expect when paying large sums of money for accommodation (with toilet paper!).
